How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
In March 2010 we moved into our new and current location. We continue to expand to meet the growing demand in our region.

Society for the Blind is located at the corner of S and 13 Streets, 5-6 blocks south of the Capitol Mall and downtown Sacramento.
If you're coming from West of Sacramento
Take I-80 East toward Sacramento. Continue onto US-50 E. Take I-5 N exit toward Redding. Follow signs for Q Street. Slight right onto Q Street. Turn right at 9th Street.
If you're coming from East of Sacramento
Take 1-80 West towards Sacramento. Take the exit toward Downtown 10th Street. Merge onto W Street. Turn right on 12 Street. Turn right on S Street.
If you're coming from North of Sacramento
Take I-5 South towards Sacramento. Exit Q Street. Turn right at 9th Street. Turn left at S Street.

Take CA-99N towards Sacramento. Take the exit toward San Francisco/I-80 W/I-5 W/CA-99 W. Merge onto CA-99 N/US-50 W. Take the exit toward Downtown 10th St. Merge onto W St. Turn right on 12 Street. Turn right on S Street.
What type of payments do you accept?
Society for the Blind is a comprehensive array of rehabilitation programs and instruction for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. In addition to being a certified partner agency with the Department of Rehabilitation, our funding sources include individual donations and grants from government, corporations, and private foundations. The Low Vision Clinic which serves the Department of Rehabilitation, Medicare and many private insurance companies provides specialized optical services and products for people with some functional vision. Aids for Independence is an on-site/online retail store which offers products geared to the needs of the blind and visually impaired. The Access News program is a free telephone-based news service which provides access to local, regional and national publications for blind and low vision people across the United States.
